Itinerary:

Day 1: Tirana – Welcome to Albania
Upon arrival at Tirana Airport, your adventure commences with a guided city tour. You’ll visit the city’s key landmarks and uncover fascinating insights into Albania’s historical journey and development. The evening offers a warm introduction to the capital, setting the stage for the days ahead.

Day 2: Hike in Llogara National Park
Travel to Dhermi and enter the scenic Llogara National Park. Your hike begins through a charming mossy forest and ascends to the ridge of the Karaburun Peninsula. At the saddle, known as Qafa e Thelle, enjoy a breathtaking panorama where the Albanian Riviera unfolds, merging sky and sea in perfect harmony.
Overnight in Dhermi 
Hiking profile: T2, +650m / -450m, approx. 4.5 hours

Day 3: Hike from Kudhes to Qeparo and Gjipe Bay
Set out in the morning on a trek to the tranquil Gjipe Bay, nestled within an impressive canyon. After relishing lunch at a family-run beachside restaurant, continue your journey through olive groves and shepherd villages toward the historic village of Qeparo, which offers a stunning view of the endless sea.
Overnight in Qeparo

Gjipe Bay segment: T1, +160m / -200m, approx. 1.5 hours

Day 4: Explore the Blue Eye and Gjirokastra’s Stone Town
On your way to Gjirokastra, a UNESCO World Heritage site, take a break in Delvine. Enjoy a hike through picturesque villages and savor a traditional lunch. Later, marvel at the Blue Eye (“Syri i Kalter”), a magical karst spring with deep blue waters. In the evening, wander the ancient streets of Gjirokastra, renowned for its historic stone houses and narrow alleys.

Day 5: Trek around Antigonea
Begin your day in the village of Saraqinishta, located near the ruins of Antigonea. A gentle hike through blooming meadows leads you to Dhoksat, where a welcoming local family treats you to a hearty lunch. Spend your afternoon exploring a traditional Gjirokastra house and the local bazaar.

Day 6: Discover Berat – The City of 1,000 Windows
Travel to Berat, one of Albania’s most enchanting cities and a UNESCO World Heritage site. After a tour of the castle and a shared lunch, enjoy an afternoon free to absorb the city’s unique ambiance and rich history.

Day 7: Drobonik Hike & Wine Tasting
Embark on a hike to Drobonik, where you’ll be rewarded with stunning views of Berat and its surrounding mountains. Upon reaching the village, experience the serene pace of local life before visiting Albania’s most celebrated winery for a delightful wine tasting session.

Day 8: Farewell
On your final day, explore Berat’s ethnographic museum before departing for Tirana Airport. Conclude your week-long journey enriched by hiking adventures and cultural discoveries, carrying home memories that will last a lifetime.
